My 1987 300E is stored in a garage and I use it only a few days a year. So I disconnect the battery. When I restart the car, it runs well for 5 miles, and stop. It seems that there is a fuel shortage. I try to restart it for at least half an hour, and it suddenly runs again. If I use it regularly, nothing happens. Is this a fuel pump problem ? Or a leak in the fuel circuit ?

This could be a result of many things, but I would speculate on old fuel or a faulty fuel pump relay.
