W124 vacuum pipe locations -thermo valve

Hi i dont ask any questions on the forum very often .
But i need to know one thing .Its about the thermal time sswitch, or valve .
I sits on the top of the rhight hand side of the head at the front . From the top it as two tubes exiting ,and one of them is at an angle , and the one is upright . The questin i put to any of the W124 260E or the M103 engine is to what part of the engine or item both these pipes go to..Thank you for looking .And i hope someone can put me right on this one.

You'll need a vacuum line diagram specific to your year and model for a conclusive answer. Euro models differ greatly from the US versions in regards to emissions controls and the vacuum line diagrams since there are different HVAC systems and various emissions controls driven from vacuum.

Different car, but may point you in the right direction: My 500SL Euro (M117 engine) has 2 thermo-time valves in it. One goes to the vacuum advance on the distributor, the other goes to the vacuum pod on the EGR valve.
