Replacement of Sub-Frame Bushings - R107

Hello all,

I just looked through the Shop Manual CD to see how difficult it would be to change the sub-frame bushings on my 1987 R107. Base on what's in there, I would be reluctant to tackle the job myself. Has anyone actually changed out these bushings and can advise me on just how difficult it is?

Thanks!

Bushing Replacement

Hi Max

Mike Tangas did a bushing replacement on his 108 chasis car.
The procedure is located in the D.I.Y. section at the top of the page.

Good luck

Bob

Replacement of Sub-Frame Bushings - R107

Thanks, Bob.

I had read that already, but was concerned that since my car was a little "tighter" with respect to working room, the project was more difficult. Reading the project narrative, it seems to be not especially difficult, but potentially frustrating. Now, can anyone recommend the proper brake fluid to use?
