W114 Stacklight replacement headlight bowls?

Hi all,
The headlight bowls (chromed bowls carrying the bulbs), are corroded. Is there a way just the headlight could be replaced on these stacklights without losing the stacklight looks?

I am hoping (praying?) that someone knows of a normal car headlamp which can be inserted in the originals bowl's place - possibly without a LHD or RHD deflector.....

This looks like a fair price if the reflectors are good - https://sacramento.craigslist.org/pts/d/mercedes-euro-headlights-w114/6330976261.html . Not mine, no stake in sale.

I can't imagine a good set of DOT sealed beams housings, doors and trim will cost less unless they come on a parts car.

Check hemmings.com and talk to Tom Walgamuth (username t walgamuth) on the Diesel forum about restoring reflectors.

Thanks Sixto,
I am hoping to get something new and modern - non sealed lamp, possibly advanced technology etc.

If I get used, I will be back here in a few years, asking the same again

Depending on how handy you are, you could look into a set of 7" H4 headlights then somehow remove the lenses to fit just the reflectors in your housings. If you go with DOT housings there's a range of options from sealed beam to H4 to even projector and xenon/HID that fit standard 7" openings. Projectors on G500s (the SUV, not the jet) and latest Wranglers come to mind but they might not fit standard buckets. These are more affordable but...

Exactly - i was hoping to install the full hit, inclidong the new lens, notwithstanding any issues with the deflector patterns on the lenses clashing. I will have another look, now U have a general dimension. I thougjt the bowls were only 140mm (about 5")
