With the vacuum system that works the door locks is it possible to have a keyless remote alarm installed on my 1988 190E 2.3?

I know the guys at MBshop are developing a system that wires directly into the vacuum motor(is it already available?), but in my 300E, my installer attached a small solenoid to the door lock shaft in the drivers door. That way, when the system is activated, it responds as though a key has been used in the driver's door lock. This installation has worked reliably for 2 years, and on several others MBs. I was just uncomfortable wiring into the vacuum motor.

I too am interested on the information for installing a keyless alarm system on my '86 300SDL and my 92 500SEL.

Any further information available on eihter?

It isn't under construciton, it works and over 50 units are being used very well with no problems...The problem is that one of my suppliers has back-ordered one of the components. When I get them in you guys will know!! PS My system uses no after market actuators but wires in directly with the factory alarm and vac pump.
