w123 front bendix calipers
hello to everyone!
i try to reseal the front bendix calipers of my w123. The kit comes with the dustboots and two metal rings that i assume they hold the dustboots in place. do i have to place these metal rings over the dustboots or should i try to push them in the dustboots before i place the dustboots to the calipers? thank you in advance |

Are these the parts you have to replace the old ones ?
This is how they fit the piston.. |

Your photos are from an ATE caliper not a Bendix.
I uploaded photos of the parts. The first photo is the ring with the dust boot. The second is the ring over the dustboot as if you had put the boot on the caliper first and pressed the ring on top afterwards. The third is the dustboot upside down and me trying to put the ring into the boot from the side that mates to the caliper. Which is the correct fitment? |
