shocks/springs 190e 2.3
time for shocks on 1988 190e 2.3.......has anyone changed from stock to lowering springs with Bilstein upgrade?

Do a search, I'm sure there's tons of info about lowering suspension on a 2.3.

W201, w124, and R129s all use the same od for the springs with different rates. The 201 has the softest sorings and they're pretty short. You can cut the coils or buy Eibach springs etc. Really straight forward and easy to do with the correct spring compressor.
As for shocks I don't think there is an overly stiff shock on the market for these cars. Bilstien sells oem replacements, hd, and I believe b6s for these cars. The hds are good IME.
