Zenith 35/40 Carb Accelerator pump removal ?

Zenith 35/40 Carb Accelerator pump removal ?

I'm brand new to the forum, but I'm an experience mechanic. I'm working on a 1971 MB 250 with Zenith Inat 35/40 carbs. I've got one Carb apart, no problem there.

My question is: How do the accelerator pumps come out ?

Special tool ? Puller ?

Zenith's 35/40's Accelerator pumps

A BIG thank you to all who did not reply.

Never mind. I found the problem. It was an optical illusion. I pulled the check ball out of the bottom and tapped it out with a driver.

Onward and upward
