Can somebody lead me to a link to removing the sunroof on my W124 87 260e that does not operate. All the stuff Ive read about is calling to slide the panel back halfway to be able to remove the headliner and get access to the unit. My sunroof is shut and I am assuming that the cable or connection to the sunroof broke. I can hear the motor and parts moving up inside when I operate the switch. Any help or insight would be awesome.

Have you tried hand cranking the roof using the crank in the tool kit? If that doesn't work, holler back and maybe we can help you figure it out.
