No, i suspect the problem is in the throttle pedal. The only real way to know is to look at live data. Theres a WOT switch built into the throttle pedal.

S16/6. It both kicks down the gearbox into the lowest gear available and deactivates the AC at WOT.

Both places are entertaining to get to.

What would be a way to economically look at live data?

You could just disable the switch and see if your AC works.

After I get to it. Working under dashboards is not something I can do easily.

Disabling a switch is something I can do, and cheaply, and I'd consider leaving it there.

After spending too long I got the accelerator pedal out and found it really only takes one bolt and a yank to get it out. But cycling the connector and even swapping it with a different one, thanks to a mechanic, didn't change anything.

I went to someone with a Mercedes machine and he found that when he sent a command to the front fuse box the compressor didn't come on. So now I'm going to look into that.
