Stalling Problems with 94 E320
 

I have been having some stalling problems with my 94 E320 .
The car will stall at highway speed and when decelerating . If I aliow the car to sit for a short time it will start normally an run well. I have been reading here that this is often caused by an ovp relay problem . What would be a reasonable cost to have this relay replaced . Has anyone else had a similar problem with an E320 , how was your problem resolved ??

Just look at the part number on the OVPR, if it is 000-540-52-45 then it needs replaced. Replace the relay with 000-540-67-45 at MB list of $83. Takes about 1/2 hour.

Many thanks for your reply . I am not however a mechanic ( or even close ) and could use a bit more of your help .
I assume I am looking at the right part , it is the thingy
just in front of the battery with a 7.5A fuse on top ?? If that is the right part , then I am at a loss to find the part number .
There is a number on top of the transparent cover over the fuse but it does not seem to be either of the numbers you gave me . Help
