Hi there, I require some assistance in solving my cold start problem. My car has been tacking anywhere between 5 and 10 cranks to get started in the mornings. Once started it idles like a dream, and is fine for the rest of the day.
Last week it did not start at all. I had it in at the garage, they checked everything. Cold start valve, fuel filter, fuel pressure, injectors, plugs, timing etc. The next morning, same problem.
The car has reasonably high mileage (240,000 kilo's). Any help with my problem will be greatly appreciated.

There was a problem with the gap in the air plate. It is located in the air plenum under the air filter housing.
