Can anyone explain the procedure for changing the fuel filter on a 98 e 430?

The filter is above a plastic panel that is in front of the left rear wheel. There are 2 plastic nuts at the front of the panel and one at the rear. Remove the panel and you'll see the filter. there are 4 hoses running to it, 2 front, 2 rear. One of the hoses is a press fit and can be easily pulled off by hand. The other 3 are retained by clamps. MB uses a crimp clamp, these I dispense with in favor of common worm-gear clamps. The crimp clamps can be unclipped with a small screwdriver. The filter is clamped into place with a fairly simple sheet metal clamping bracket, just looen the phillips screw to loosen the filter from the bracket.
