2004 C-230 hatch back. No dipstick to check oil. Computer hard to read during day. any way to add dip stick. Any way to Bluetooth MB computer in to phone or small tablet easer to read.
Drove Mercedes all my life never owned a new one. No dip stick good way to ware an engine. Did Chrysler do this? Mickey

There might be a special tool dipstick as with the transmission. I don’t know if there’s one you can keep in the dipstick tube.

From ‘05 or so MBs have engine oil dipsticks again.

FWIW, I haven’t read in this forum that anyone’s run out of oil in these engines without the dash display alerting of low oil quantity.

There is a warning on the dash for low oil level. There is also a way to get an exact reading on some cars by pushing a sequence of buttons. ( I don't know how. )

For the most part, tech went from MB to Chrysler not the other way around. From what I've read, Chrysler's parts distribution network system went to MB.

Dash impossible to read during DAY. Sequence to determine oil level works some time. I don't trust lights. Little 4K preforms well, very quick. Not aware of special oil stick.
