The heater blower motor does not work on my SLK R170. This was an intermittent problem but is now more or less permanent. I have replaced the motor/fan unit but this hasn't resolved the issue. Any suggestions gratefully received. Thanks

Did you replace the blower controller when you replaced the motor/fan?

I did, but with one that I took off an old W202 C200 of mine (which is what the R170 was designed around), and this assembly is identical to it. It was working fine when I took it off the C200 a year ago! I do take your point, though - do you know how I would bench test the controller's intergity, please? Many thanks.
