Try this one from Australia. I have done this to adjust bad shifting, not bad really just changes the time of the shifts I think. Anyway, good info on how to remove that ball and socket for lube.

Hey Rob, help me out here, I'm kinda clueless to what you are referring to! "Try this one from Australia". Perhaps you forgot a link or somethin'?

Oops! Sorry. I must be getting old!

Thanks Rob!

I've watched some of his journey with the Mercedes cars and are often times very informative. Another guy on YouTube that goes by 'MMWA' also has some good vids on various issues with the W124.

I gotta tell ya, I've somehow got my car running as I've never experienced it! The 'new' EHA, turning the adjusting hex set screw on it a quarter turn richer, and then the new control arms on the rear plus the new passenger LCA on the front along with passenger side tie rod assembly! I really enjoy driving it away from stop lights and such. I have no need to give it anymore than say quarter throttle to get going at a normal speed. Anymore than that, oh my[emoji41]
