Any other numbers / markings on the part?
How did you flush the system, by removing the drain plug or a hose? Did you take off any splash panels / plastic? |

It has other markings, but it's a world away from me at the moment.
I didn't do the actual work of flushing, I don't know if covers were removed. Thermostat and it's housing were changed, new expansion tank, aux water pump, and gasket that separates the oil and water at the oil cooler. It's my girlfriend's car, so I don't have knowledge of prior work. The part is rubber, and looks complete, and I'm hoping that someone will recognize it. - and win the admiration of their fellow gear heads. Thanks in advance. I'll look tomorrow for the other stamped numbers. Sent from my XT1635-01 using Tapatalk |

The markings on the one side read:
RA 1220 867645F A The other side reads: 13 30 EPDM E I've tried googling and looking thru mbz's oem parts finder, but no luck Sent from my XT1635-01 using Tapatalk |

EPDM is a type of rubber.
The number font looks MB ish but the format isn't ( 123 456 78 90 ) so it is probably part of a larger assembly and numbed by the vendor. The " 867645F A " looks Chrysler ish. |

Did it break off the plug? maybe used to hang inside and keep the plug there while open and draining?
