My 1994 S 500 just came back from my local shop. The pass. rear window had gone Bang when rolled down and broke the regulator. Prior to this repair, the window would not go all the way up in auto mode. It would stop about 3/4 the way up and back down a couple of inches. The local shop then replaced the motor, thinking the current limiting circuit was NG. The window now goes all the way up BUT then it goes back down a couple of inches. They attempted to calibrate it using directions from Mercedes but nothing worked. They are now suggesting I take it to Mercedes.

Does anyone know the trick to get the window calibrated to allow auto up to work right? The other three windows seem ok.
