Sweet! I'll try that for sure. I have a new pump on the way, but can always return it

Thumbs up

Replace all the rubber under the air filter assembly... two hoses for the IAC and the main CIS boot. Injector seals and orings. That will help a pile. Of course, all the small ~1/8" hoses all over. Same with the two breather hoses on the valve cover. Do the gasket, I am sure it leaks. Plugs while in there.

Fuel with ethanol falls apart and causes issues. Easy to drain the tank, just remove the supply line to the fuel pump and let it spill into your catch pan.

Just those two will help quite a bit.

You cannot service the CIS injectors, just replace them. Unless you have records, do it. $20/ea. The FD will need it too, do this when you want to spend $550 on the car. I did it, car drives totally different. CIS Flowtech bench tested mine first, 105-125CC output...spec is 135CC for all six!

If it is that gutless, the catalyst may be plugged. Install a fresh fuel filter too.
