so Ill be the 2nd owner of this hot rod

its got 91k with decent service records from Merc of Seattle...
its got the air ride suspension and the rear bag has a small hole that causes the compressor to work over time
"car is parked at repair shop until its replaced Monday"
would that leak cause both front and rear pass. side of the car to drop when parked or might I have 2 leaky bags?
its also getting new eng. trans. mounts

On that car there is a shutoff valve in each strut or airbag. If it leaks down when sitting, its safe to assume its a bad bag or strut on whatever corner goes down.

Keep in mind that even good struts and bags will leak down eventually, too. Mercedes has a spec of "its ok to fall down after so many days." I don't recall off hand how many but more than just a few.

Has it had the fuel tank replaced? It's out of the 15 year warranty extension.

No, MB got sued because W211 fuel tanks were leaking gasoline when filled to the top. Usually you can smell gasoline in the garage when parked over night. NHTSA opened an investigation and as part of the settlement they agreed to extend the warranty to 15 years unlimited mileage from the date the car was first sold in order to avoid a recall. MB replaces the whole fuel tank, pump and sender. I had the tank replaced on my 04 in December 2018, 4 months before the warranty ran out.

25 was a typo. The SBC is covered by a 25 year warranty. Fuel tank is 15.
