Head removal on 1982 300 SD

I’m losing coolant not much but my guess is head gasket. The original service manual says that the head bolts should be replaced once the head is taken off does anyone have a comment on this.
Has anyone done a head and use the old bolts? I’m trying to save a little will I regret my decision seeing I will have the head machined and valves done also.
Any feed back will be appreciated .

Pressure test your coolant system first before you jump to head gaskets About 20 psi will
Give you a good change of finding leaks. A Bad cap will cause coolant loss

Has your oil color changed to look like cream? If yes, this is a pretty good indication that you have a blown head gasket. Pressure testing is a good move.
