M117 Tri-Y headers

Was ist los ?
I'm working on my 1984 500 SEL. It's a true Euro Autobaun machine. I'm in need of some input on installing a set of factory TriY headers. The set I picked up is off a 116 chassis 280sel 4.5. One side is a true TriY design & the other is a "4 into 1) center dump design. It looks like a very possible adaptation w/o to much cussing . . . maybe ?
Anyone have some advice or direction on this ?
As it's been said "Measure twice & cut once."
Thank You to the Three Point Star Guru's.
Sincerely Rev. Buzz

Different exhaust port shapes and cyl head flange bolt patterns.

280sel is a w108 I believe. W116 4.5 would be a 450sel. Wouldn’t it?

You're right. I'm still learning.
