W221 Dynamic Seats
 

So I have an 08 S550 with the dynamic seats. The seats weren’t working and I found it to be due to a bad pump. I replaced the pump and now the seats work. However, when I removed the blue line going to the pump, about a cup of water cane out. I installed the new pump and tested the seats and saw water rushing through the red line with the inline filter. I removed the blue line again and water continued to come out.

Is this normal? I think this water is what ruined the original pump. How do I get all this water out and prevent it from coming back?
