So I had ABC light on my cl600 and decided to fix it my self after a shop quoted me $5,000+ to fix.

So I DO have a lift so working on the car was not that bad. Take some before photos of the valve body in rear to placement on reinstall.

The valve bodies appear to be poorly made on the internals no matter the miles of your car, these parts are now OLD.

1. I ordered 2 large Accumulator on ebay for $130 each.

2. Ordered one small Accumulator for the rear valve body. Also buy a lot of CH11s online or local, ebay is nice free shipping. I would get at least 8 liters.

3. I removed the muffler to get easy access to the rear Accumulator and more room to get to rear valve body.

4. I removed valve body and shipped to a re-builder on ebay for $110. MAKE SURE TO PACK THE VALVE BODY GOOD, mine got some very minor damage from shipping!

5. Plan on the valve body to leak a few days while the unit is rebuilt and place a pan or buckets. Seal up the connections the best you can so no crap gets in system.

6. While waiting on the part to return you can install the rear Accumulator which is EASY with muffler removed.

7. Front is easy but you have to removed the drivers side wheel well cover.

8. Reinstall the rear valve body which is a little tricky with all the connections but is idiot proof since they are all color coded.

9. Now you can complete the fill, then flush the ABC system. I purchased a adapter at home depot to connect the return line into a hose to my drain pan.

10. I topped off the system then started car. While running I pushed the raise lower button and the car did a great flush. When I ran about 5 liters though, I stopped the flush and filled the system.

11. So total cost:

2 Accumulator $260

1 Small Accumulator for rear valve body $200

8 liters of 11S $130

Rebuilt valve body $110

Home depot adapter and hose $10

Total cost for working ABC system : $710 and about 8 hours total work time.
