m104.994,thermo bypass hose
what would cause a bypass hose to suck together ?,just old? Going to replace,just wanted to know.

Just being old will cause the hose to collapse. Some bypass hoses have internal wire (like a coil spring) inside the hose to prevent a collapse. The other cause could be your overflow line is plugged.

coolant recovery tank,my super glue failed.Bought new hose,and reglue tank where little hose broke off.

The coolant recovery tanks are available on ebay. Replaced mine some years ago. As I recall, cost was around $40.00.

things are tight for us right now.I want to buy a good one.Love to find a real aluminum custom radiator,and eliminate that to,if I could. Maybe 3 row.,hate plastic rads
