TRANSMISSION CASE REAR part number 124 270 01 11 replacement

The new replacement Auto Transmission Mount 1242400618 has a bolt on top that goes inside the hole below the output flange/yoke. On my mercedes e320 wagon, due to various issues involving driveline, flexidiscs replacement, etc., this hole is missing. My question is the Transmission case rear part number 124 270 01 11 has this hole that the tranmission mount bolt goes in or is it part of the transmission housing? See picture that I circled (red) that is missing due to damage. Anyone out there can confirm this is part of the transmission case rear? Thanks to all for reading.

Its part of the extension housing, not the transmission case itself.

I will see if I can get to @rwd4evr ‘s core transmission to see if he knows how to get off whatever part it is that you need. Maybe I can get there tomorrow morning.

dmorgan - I sent an email to Sun Valley this morning on your behalf asking about the transmission rear housing. Where are you located ?

Thanks.

dmorgan - I just spoke on the phone with Marc at Sun Valley. They do not sell parts; however, he did give me the name of EVT Parts in Los Angeles where they do sell transmission parts. The phone number for EVT is: (310) 327-2910. Their website is:
EVTParts.com

Marc also said you will need the casting number for the part you are seeking. Sometimes the casting number is different from the Mercedes part number.
