I have a question as to the removal of the regulator. There appear to
be three screws holding it into the door frame. Will removing these
allow me to remove the mechanism? the manual seems to require that the
window be in the down position to remove the slider from the glass. My
window is in the full up position. Can I still remove it?
Thanks for your help. 1987 300D Turbo model 124.

I will remove the window reg at window down
position because there is a clip to hold the
reg jaw at window lower channel.

Thanks for replying to my question. I know that the window should be down, but mine is in the fully closed position. Since the regulator is not working, I have no way to roll down the window. Can it be done with the window up?
Thank you
