what is this yellow piece part name and number that need to be replace?

On my 1994 E320 wagon, 722.369 transmission, this yellow piece was on the transmission rear end after removing the rear transmission case housing. See the pictures. What is this yellow piece part name and number that need to be replace?Part of the piece is broken and I definitely will replace that. Anyone out there knows about this part? Thanks for reading.

parking interlock guide, part number A1262776077
After calling the Mercedes dealership, I finally got the correct name and part number. It is a called a parking interlock guide, part number A1262776077.

The parking interlock guide, part number A1262776077,Item 348 is the part in the picture. There is the a parking interlocking rod (332) with a roller bearing (347). All separate parts. Are the parking interlocking rod and the roller bearing visible on the outside or inside of the transmission? I don't know where are these two rod and roller bearing located. how are both connected to the parking interlock guide? Does anyone out there knows about these 3 parts put together? Feedback, comments, advice is greatly appreciated.

I would suggest you buy/download an ATSG service manual for this to somewhat guide you - its not a perfect one but can somewhat guide you correctly as different versions of the 722.3 have a lot of differences. |

First, I did not removed the transmission sump (transmission pan?). I looked under the location of the Parking interlock guide (yellow piece in above photos. Notice the pictures of the parking interlocking rod sticking out and below that, I believed it is the roller bearing.
I have not got the parking interlock guide replacement yet. How does the parking interlock guide that goes inside connecting the interlocking rod tighten or some kind of support mechanism securely in place? Is there some kind of nut or something to keep the parking interlock guide from falling out? Does the interlocking rod need to move higher than it is in already in position right now to tighten or something connecting to the parking interlock guide? Any comments, feedback/advice is greatly appreciated. |

<article class="message-body js-selectToQuote" itemprop="text"> Today, I received the replacement parking interlock guide with the two tabs on the bottom pins. The older parking interlock guide was broken and missing the bottom pin. I finally figured out the parking interlock guide with the rod and roller bearing attached. When I put the replacement gear selector bracket on the transmission gear selector, I moved up and down on the gear selector. Sure enough the rod went high enough for me to put the roller bearing inside the rod and put in the parking interlock guide inside the rod. Then pushed in parking interlock guide inside the two holes for its placement and secured. Live and learn.
