1991 190e 2.3 idling problem
My 190e is having an idling problem. It idles around 1800 and surges to about 3500. Was thinking it is the idle air control valve. Any ideas?

Are you talking cold or hot idle? Does it surge all the time or just intermittently? Manual or auto trans? If an auto does it surge both in Drive and N or P or just on one or the other? More details would help.
