Center Floor Pan - Mercedes-Benz 124-610-06-71 tunnel insulation removal and install
 

I am thinking about getting this tunnel piece that goes on top of the automatic transmission on my 1994 Mercedes E320 wagon. From the image of this particular part, it looks like one whole solid piece and not the typical insulation types.


I have been researching on this part in regards to removing and installing it. I cannot seem to find some instructions on its removal. Are there any parts to be remove prior to installing the new tunnel insulation? Any helpful comments, advice, or feedback is greatly appreciated.
