My ’94 S500 coupe SLS [Self Leveling Suspension] system was not performing as it should. Initially I found that the hydraulic fluid was low . . . and then a ‘leak’ from the right rear strut.
I considered REPLACING the SLS system with conventional shocks but saw a '05 S500 that had it done and it SAGGED just sitting there!!!
So I wanted to see if it can be fixed . . . w/o spending a fortune. Here’s my “saga” of getting it repaired . . .

For those who DON'T READ: The thread shows how a leaking strut can be repaired and two (2) bad accumulators can be replaced w/o a LARGE expenditure of $$$$. My car is 25 yrs old so if the leaking strut can be repaired w/ a simple procedure, odds are it can be done with "youngsters".
