V belts on 560

Hi,

I bought a 13x960 belt for the AC. The belt should be routed from the crank pulley to the ac pulley to the idler pulley.

I have the tool for losening the screw. I losened it, and now I cant get the belt on. I have the correct belt I think, but I cant get it over the crank pulley, etc.

I know that this system was changed from r12 to r134a. Maybe the new compressor has a different diameter pulley. Could someone give me some insight or maybe measure their pulleys to so I can compair them to mine. Please email a response.

Thanks,

Austin

update on pulley size

I measured the pulleys.

The idler pulley is 97.30mm

The AC compressor for the R134A system is 146.80.

The crank pulley is 185mm (I couldnt get my caipers in position around the fan, etc)

All measurements are the Outer edges of the pulley.

Please see my rough keyboard sketch

1^1

From the top of the (1) to the bottom of the (1)

I also put the belt on the crank and the AC pulley and marked how high it would go if I pulled on it, then I pushed the Idler pulley down and it won't even go far enough down to the Max of what the belt can stretch.

Thanks,

Austin
