300 E Power Window

Does anyone have pictures of the front passenger
side window and it components dissasembled.
If the window is stuck in a closed position is
removing of the motor and the rail assembly the
only choice did anyone did had this problem?
Any input would be appreciated.

Check here... I have various pictures of all the doors with the covers removed.

Remove the cover and try to apply power directly to the motor. One of my windows was stuck in the down/open position and I could successfully close it by applying power directly to the door window motor.

I didn't quite catch the actual problem you have, but hope that was of some help.

I got to the step of removing the side panel and

seat control buttons. The window seems stuck in

upright position, did you ever dismantle the electric motor

which is in between the sheet metal pieces that

form the door(and took the motor outside to inspect)?

Is it possible to remove the glass if the

rail is all the way in the upper position ?

I had the left rear window out when my motor was stuck in that position. I think it would be harder and maybe impossible (?) in the upper position.

Didn't open the motor. I just sprayed some WD-40 here and there and it started working. Greased up the wire and put it back in. I had to run it all the way down to get the glass back on.

Maybe you can get the white guide/tab off the window motor assembly and then be able to remove it. I am sure there has to be a way...

Sorry I can't be of more help :(

Sometimes...

you can "release" a window by closing the door while pressing the window switch. Worth to try if you have not disassembled the door. Good luck!

My RF window was also non functioning a few months ago. I washed the car, paying attention to cleaning the rubber seal at the window and it works fine now. Perhaps the seal was holding it in place??? It is sure worth checking as the "fix" is easy and free.
