W124 M104 aux oil pressure gauge

Just wondering if there’s another port that I can tap into to get a oil pressure reading. There ain’t no way that I can add a t-fitting on the oe spot. Trying to add an under hood pressure gauge to keep an eye on the oil pressure

You can make one using a spare oil filter lid. Drill and tap a hole, get whatever fittings are necessary, and use some sealing tape when you put it all together.

I wouldn’t drive it around this way but it’s a cheap and simple way to check the pressure.

The w124 some have the spin on filters and to drill in to one to fit a conection will leave iron filings inside the filter --good or ---bad ?
