Speed Sensor on Nipon Compressor

I've been to A/C Hell and back... And It's not cool

Has anyone replaced the speed sensor on a nipon compressor. I had the compressor appart the replaced the seals but did not fool with the speed sensor. I startes to pry it off but stoped short. does it just pop off the outside of the compressor or do I need to remove the rear housing. I replace the relay allready. all the seals, the expantion valve, and dryer..

Thumbs up C-Clip!

The one I have sitting here on the floor next to me uses an inside circle clip. You need a pair of circle clip pliers to compress it to remove it. You can get a set of pliers that is both contracting acting and expandingactiong two way from Sears if i recall. Good Luck

Thanks Billybob,

Is the clip on the outside of the compressor under the rubber boot?

This is a picture of the end of mine, the arrows point to the ends of the clip!
