W211 E55 seats into an E500?

I have a 2003 E500 with heated leather seats. I had a power drain issue a while ago that was an issue with the passenger seat module so I disconnected it instead of getting a new one for $600. I have the opportunity to purchase and entire interior of the massaging heated/ventilated seats from a 2003 E55. I can get the front and rear seats, control panel for the dash board and the wiring (wasn't sure if they wiring was the same or not but the seller with give it to me also). Obviously the seats will bolt right in. I've read posts in the past from people saying that they replaced seat modules and had to have them reprogrammed by a Merc Computer STAR thing. Is this true? I would guess that the seat connections are the same on both with the exception of the ventilated portion? I did a full seat swap on my 1996 E300 and added factory heated leather seats to it when it only came with crappy MDtex seats and all I had to do was add a power source to the heated switch panel. I'm hoping this will be just as easy?

i'm not surprised.....the more complicated these cars get the less people are doing their own work.....i have a bunch of w211's and two of them have the massaging seats and two do not.....all 2005 model year cars.....1 e500 and 1 e320 cdi have them (and 1 or each do not have them)....
it would seem like the wiring would have to be there but i'm not sure if the modules have to be flashed or not.

keep us posted if you don't mind and good luck with the swap.....

I don't mind a project and actually enjoy them. I just need to know whether to get an entire donor car to do it or just the seats and the switch.
