05 s55 with 270k miles
Looking at a clean s55, no issues whatsoever, not even a scratch. It seems to be well maintained but not much paperwork. Would it Be a bad idea to get a amg with High miles? I’m aware of abc issues and some other costly repairs. But I’ve always wanted a s55

I believe that engine has a potential flaw with the oil pickup o-ring that can destroy the motor, but it may have been taken care of already. The o-ring gets brittle from heat then it starts sucking air and oil pressure drops.
I think its an otherwise solid engine....270k is a lot though, especially for a transmission behind the AMG motor.
