What the heck is thing called?
We're at the front of the car.
There's an arm that runs back from the lower control arm to a bracket, which is attached to the frame with two big donut-like bushings. In my manual they call it a "brake control rod," other places they call it a "camber control rod" or just a "guide rod." Google it, and there it is in the pictures. But I've been looking online for bushings and they're not showing up under these names. I can't believe that nobody sells a set of bushings for this thing, whatever it's called, so what the heck is my problem here? Am I just being totally dumb? (happens from time to time...) Are they called something else now? Any comment - even if you just want to tell me that yes, I'm being totally dumb here - will be appreciated! Thanks. |
These? At the bottom of the page.

Yep! It's in there - as a "suspension support bracket repair kit" And I see the donut bushings as well.
How did you find that? Anyway. Thanks. Much appreciated. |
If you're changing the guide rod bushings and your car has rust then you may break the nut plates holing the bolts
