Help! 96 C280 Torque Conv. Drain Plug
 

I cannot locate the torque converter drain. Also what is the torque setting to reinstall the drain plug?

Are there any caveats if I have to rotate engine from crankshaft with a wrench.

The way I find mine is to turn the engine by hand using the crank bolt and while under the car feel for the drain plug coming around or visually watch for it. I have found it practically impossible to use the starter to position the torque converter drain plug.
