Had RFC Electronics rebuild the ETA on 93 300TE M104 but still have high idle, bad eg

Hello all:

Still struggling to complete the last few issues on my 1993 300TE with the M104 engine and no ASR.

I have already replace the main engine harness and repaired the lower engine harness (goes to starter solenoid, oil pressure switch and etc) and just in the past week I found the pigtail harness on the electronic throttle actuator was also toast.

I sent the throttle body off to RFC Electronics in Alabama and they rebuilt the ETA harness.

Prior to send the ETA off I confirmed the clutch solenoid on the ETA was functioning properly.

So today I received the throttle body back and reinstalled it on the car.

Unfortunately after starting the car up I still have the high idle.

I understand that when the wiring harness to the throttle body shorts out due the the biodegradable insulation going south that this can sometimes also blow out the egas module or idle control ECU as well. Is this true? Is there anyway to test this EGAS module?

My other question is if I look around on ebay for another one, how do I know if a used ECU I purchase is good or not?

any and all advice appreciated.
