a/c woes. Lol. Always a woe

2008 e550

Freon full
Compressor quiet runs full time
Blower good
All functions work as they should except.....

Freezing cold at speed

Hot in stop and go or idle. What gives?

Typically that’s an issue with the electric fan not running Through the condenser when the ac is on.. or a condenser clogged with bugs

Agreed, sounds like a condenser cooling issue.

I would check to see if it starts working when stopped, but with the rpms at like 2k. That would suggest to me the pump is having an issue/leak. I'd also check my water temp and if possible fan speed. Could be your fan is dying or dead and you simply haven't stopped long enough to overheat yet?
And of course check your condenser for bugs, road grime etc clogging it up, which also blocks air to your radiator...
