replacing tie rod busings

car: '86 300E

Could anyone tell me if I need to replace the tie rod bushings also if replace the tie rods (both left and right).

Also, is there one or two idler arms in the steering system.

Thanks,

hs

There are no 'tie-rod bushings'.
There are 'tie-rod ends', counted among the many balljoints in the steering rack that can fail.
There is only one idler arm.
It is on the right, and it does have bushings that wear out periodically.
