M113 manual

Looking to buy a M113 service manual. Getting ready to do a cylinder head R&R on a 2002 CLK430. DVD, down load, paper copy, whatever is available.

Sigh.

Well, I ordered a DVD manual off Fleabay. I'll let you know about its quality when it gets here. I could have downloaded off the web but I want it on my laptop which I use as my shop computer and its WIFI is iffy and slow.

I don't know what all the manual covers. I'll let you know when I receive it. Not that it really matters as the car is an auto-box and other than the changing of filter and fluid, there's not much I would do.

As for anything else (rebuild), that is what Sun Valley is for.

Got the WIS/EPC installed. It uses "Virtual Box" as a driving engine for the program. Comes with good, clear installation instructions. Had a few glitches installing VB, probably my fault.

I put it on my desk top machine, haven't tried it on my laptop. Seems to require an internet connection but I won't know for sure until I install it on my laptop. I do know it doesn't like my wireless Epson XP-600 printer but that's nothing new. I've got an old HP inkjet I can use if I need print-outs.

The EPC covers about every manifestation of Daimler Benz since 1962 or so. I haven't had any reason to delve too deeply into its depths, yet.

The WIS covers from about 1985 up.

Well worth the $20 and a couple of hours of installation time it required.
