engine carbon cleaner
Does anyone know if the carbon engine cleaner that they advertise really cleans the carbon deposit in your engine?? My car has 90,000miles. I think they call it "motorVac" or something?? The cost is about $100.00.
Thanks! |

I didn't DIY, but my Indie shop did and it did WONDERS for my car, including making my car drink 1 qt of oil every 600 miles. I'm not kidding.

Get a can of BG44k and put it in your fuel. We do them every service . I did it on my own car before I pulled my head , after 2 tank fulls I pulled the head to do a valve job . It was unreal how much it cleaned the piston and valve area.We did look in the chamber with my boroscope before hand and it was pretty carboned up.This is the best stuff I have ever seen . It works best if you put it in before a long highway trip.:D

Where can I get this stuff?

Call some local shops and see if they sell any BG products. :D

For info on where to purchase BG44K, check out their WEB site listed below. You can find the distributor for their product line in your area at this WEB site. In my area, it's handled primarily by independent garages. If there was ever a snake oil I believe in, this stuff is it.
