W124 cold Air A/C center vents/hot air side vents

New to MB, have 94' W124 and A/C blows cold air only in center two dash vents, and blows hot air from the driver and passenger side vents.

I saw a drop of two of coolant being evaporated from under the opened hood, while I was troubleshooting. It occurred on the passenger side from what looks like two or three coolant lines, just in front of my battery (see pic). The battery was also very warm to the touch FWIW!? Unrelated???

This was the first time I have driven the car since I rerouted and bypassed my coolant lines from inside the windshield washer tank since coolant was leaking into the washer tank (see previous thread about this). Would doing the bypass have anything to do with THIS cold and warm air vents A/C issue??????!!!

Thanks!
