Intermittent AC .. possibly wiring
 

I have had an intermittent AC for a while now and before i decide to dive into the devil of figuring out what it is i noticed these wires that are completely bare by the firewall. I put some electrical tape around the parts that seemed to be touching, and so far the AC has been working for the past few days. I just wanted to confirm those wires are part of the AC system (going to the compressor most likely). The rest of my wiring harness seems find and nothing is breaking/brittle/exposed. But those 3 wires by the firewall ... not lookin so "hot."
