Doesn't seem to be mentioned in the manuals what the value (ohm and wattage) of the preresistor value for the aux. fans is. Can anybody shed light on it's resistance?

(mine has wizappapeared - obviously previous owner took it out and never replaced it)

It's a BIG resistor, like a 10W ballast resistor.

There are several different resistors depending on the car year & model! Most of the cars BEFORE 1990 used a 0.2 ohm that is capable of handling approx 20amp.
