W140 1992-1999 ABS Wheel Speed Sensors Retrofitting

Hello. Might anyone know the procedure to integrate the upgraded ABS Wheel Speed Sensors that have a different harness fitting for use with the older W140s, such as the 1992-1994 W140 models? The upgraded ABS WSS are identified by factory as correct upgrade replacements for the older W140s; however, the new WSS wire harness fitting is rectanglish vs. the OEM original oval that plugs into the wire harness above the wheel wells for the front sensors. Moreover, they are male pins, and the wiring harness that goes to the ABS module is also male. Original OEMs were female fitted WSS.

I figure one could simply cut the wires open on the new part and make sure the color codes follow the wire diagram color coding. A bit messy and time consuming though. Thank you.
