The right-side latch on the windshield frame often gets stuck and does not unlatch. The process is also much louder than I remember (ie when it does unlatch, there's a loud "pop" as if there is a lot of tension.)
any diagnosis? regards. |

The soft top & hard top is operator by hydraulic pump locate in trunk under spare tire.
there is adjusting shims you can find at dealers. take your 500SL to a pro (not many peopre know how to work on hydraulic soft & hard top system) |

This is the most complex system for any tech to properly diagnose. Go to someone who is ultra familiar with the system!
