94 E320 deleted air pump

Thanks to this forum I had the correct belt size on hand and knocked this out in 1.5 hours last night.
My pump has always been a bit noisy for a couple minutes at least for the last couple of years, luckily daily duty is split with my e300d…
Last few times on a cold crank, it has sounded like grinding, really embarrassing noises until the pump cut-off.
I have a parts car 93 300te but doesn’t do me a lot of good several counties and over an hour drive away. So I just stopped driving it.
But then, before a trip with the diesel, I boogered up a fuel hose on the lift pump(will pull the intake manifold and likely do delivery valves while I’m in there)
This forced me to drive my wife’s e300d and put me in a bad spot with two undriveable Benz’s. I bought a 935k6 before leaving town.
The hardest part is loosening the fan clutch bolt, getting the little tool inserted is way harder than om601/2/3/6. Anyways, once I got it off, I found what looked like a few 2” strips of oil dipstick in the 90* rubber hose that leads to the exhaust manifold. I tried to turn the pump and it was seized. Funny part was when I pulled it up to work on it, it was no longer loud but smelled a bit like burning.
Must have been the conti belt getting hot on the frozen pump.
